Ökyü

Ökyü, aged 16, is a Fashion Design student at ROC Amsterdam. On the recommendation of her teacher, she has joined Voices of Tolerance. Drawing and painting have been a passion of hers since she was a child and the means by which she expresses her feelings and makes her voice heard. Now, through the Voices community, she is seizing the opportunity to give that voice a platform. She would like to draw more attention to women from migrant backgrounds and be the voice of people we don’t usually hear.
