In ‘Volmaakt!’ the visitor enters the thought world of the Voices. How do they navigate a demanding, polarizing and often conflictual society? Who do they want to be? What are they striving for?
During a philosophical workshop they explored their identity, their personal ambitions and their role in the world. Do they feel the freedom to be themselves? They have depicted these insights in ceramic figures, photography and in an audio compilation. In a society full of challenges and conflicts, one thing is clear: for these young people, talking to each other is the key to connection. The ceramic figures are not only the expression of the personal
identity of these young people, but also of the hopes and ambitions of a new generation in which the freedom to be yourself is perfection.
